Techno from Melbourne and beyond.

Nothing less than 50 releases spanned across 17 years for existence – it’s time to celebrate for Warm Up Recordings, and they have done so in immense fashion.

Announcing a remix pack, split into two EP’s based in the limited clear vinyl Pattern Series originals, as well as an incredible digital release including all of the original cuts that have previously not been available in digital form until now.

The first EP comes with remakes by the hands of Silent Servant, Kangding Ray, and Cassegrain. Silent Servant, as per usual, provides a dark, chugging, industrial rework of Color, an incredibly dynamic DJ tool. While Kanding Ray’s floating pads and flanging sequences taking Form to cosmic new territories. Cassegrain focuses on the beat content of Texture, making an almost strictly percussive workout aimed straight at the dancefloor.

The second EP features Shlømo’s modern approach to Textures, with a rolling sub bass, shuffled grooves, micro drones and lush pads comprising the beautifully textured piece. Then, none other than the Italian maestro, Donato Dozzy approaches Color in an old school way with vintage grooves and acid lines mixed with resonant sweeps and sci-fi paraphernalia. Chevel offers his own person view on Form, mixing pads and atmospheres with 80’s flavoured melodies and weird beats ending in industrial madness.

The Pattern Series Compilation featuring original Oscar Mulero tracks never released in digital form is set for release on November 1st, while the Pattern Series Part 1 and 2 will be released on November 10th and December 1st respectively. The remix EP’s will be available in both 12″ and digital forms. Listen to the full digital forms of Oscar Mulero’s Pattern Series Compilation below.
