A leading independent Melbourne based techno promoter, events and touring company.

As per the recently announced ban on dance floors imposed by the Victorian Government, we are saddened and incredibly frustrated to announce that our 8th Birthday with Clare Morgan and DJ HMC will once again, need to be postponed.

We are happy to share that the new date for the event is confirmed for Friday 4th March, 2022. The details of the lineup and venue are still being finalised so we once again ask for your continued patience while we work through what is already an increasingly impossible situation.

We anticipate the lineup and venue will be reconfirmed in the next week 7 – 14 days and when they are, we will make an official announcement across all our channels. All current tickets will be transferred to the new date and details of how to obtain a refund for those not able to attend will be emailed to all current ticket holders once all event details are finalised.

After the heartbreaking cancellation of our 7th birthday celebration in June & December 2020 and our 8th Birthday in June & October 2021 we’re thrilled to announce our long-awaited return to The Substation in Newport with a stellar All-Australian lineup. To appropriately make up for the collective disappointment that was 2020 and 2021, we’ve invited techno royalty in DJ HMC, Berghain regular Claire Morgan, Edward Richards (Live) and MTLDA b2b Nat Salih.

As has become the standard at a Bunker anniversary, this exciting collection of artists will be ably supported by world class production including a four-point Funktion-one sound system and cutting edge lighting & visuals – the likes of which will raise the bar for what constitutes a true, all-encompassing musical experience.

Patron wellness & safety is our primary concern and as such, we will be working closely with the venue and local authorities to ensure a COVIDSafe event. Measures to achieve this will include check-in via QR code on arrival and hand sanitiser readily available around the venue. Lastly, it should go without saying but, if you are felling unwell please stay home to protect yourself and those around you.

In the spirit of reconciliation Bunker acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
